Here is a short video of famous buck "Kado", Bowdy Gardner hunting with Jeremy Chamberlain took in 2012 during the archery season on the famous Pausaugunt in Utah. This amazing buck scored 226" and is the new World Record archery typical buck. I took this video of the buck in 2011 during the rut in November, as far as I am aware this is the only "Hard Horned" video footage of this buck.

So sit back and watch as "Kado" is "Ruttin It Up"!

Video is full HD, click the "Gear" icon to change the video quality and you can also expand the video to view in full screen.

Enjoy...

AWESOME buck, congrats to Mr. Gardner on a buck of a lifetime. Simply amazing typical. Great footage too!

As a side note, since it was measured and recorded by the P&Y Club in velvet, it is not eligible for world record status. It was invited to the convention (this Spring) as an honorable mention, but will not be at panel, which is also required prior to any world record. Wish it had rubbed out, as I'd love to measure it at panel in two weeks.

Genghis Khan raped so many women that 1 in 200 people today carry his genes..

P&Y may not recognize him as the world record, but I do. Just the same as Cody Robbins monster non typical should be recognized as the world record. They both smash the record, but simply choose not to have the velvet stripped. I would like to see P&Y include a permanent velvet category so these awesome bucks can get the credit they deserve.

Bill Winke Midwest Whitetail Television called me wondering if Wade Heaton would allow his camera man to tag along on an archery hunt on their Alton CWMU or Private Property to film for a series Cabelas wanted bill to create for them this past season. Wade and Jeremy were kind enough to agree to do it.

If you go to Cabelas home page at the very bottom you can click on some 2012 hunt videos. There is an "Out West" series and it was one of the first hunts, so you'll have to dig a little to find it. They have everything but the kill on video of this "Jack and the Beanstock Giant!".

I am sure Tines Up new DVD has some footage as well since Lance helps them guide. Not sure if they have the Cabelas footage on their DVD?

LAST EDITED ON Feb-15-13 AT 10:53PM (MST)[p]that buck does not look 226 he must have grown alot from2011 to 2012! beautful buck! I have not seen the harvest photo but would love to see if someone has it! Great looking buck!

Well I'm hopin and prayin probably just like all other hunters or pauns lovers out their that he was successful in running down some of those girls he was chasin so he could spread those magnificent genes. What an incredible animal. That's what I hope to dream about every night my head hits the pillow. Outstanding.
