how many points does it take this year to draw?I have 17 hope i can draw.i have some info on unit but will always listen.i have horses to bring if i draw. do i need horses? what area is best for horses. i don't need anbody honey hole. but any info will be helpful.thanks

Resident or Non Resident? Archery, any weapon, muzzleloader? Premium or management tag?

Looks like you are a Non-Resident..?? If so, as they only give one tag in the bonus tag pool, based on last year's 12 applicants who had 18 points, you will not be in the running for the bonus tag for a long time.
So, consider your odds for the other 2 NR tags to be 2/number of applicants. Looks like the total # of applicants is going to be around 3200 (looking at last year's applicant numbers) so your odds for one of the two tags is 1/1600 more or less... probably less. However, you can take into account that you will be randomly assigned 18 numbers, so your odds are slightly greater than those with less points than you...

if your a non resident you have better odds going to bed with an itchy butt and waking up with a stinky finger then you have at drawing the tag. lol

16pts 2012 there were 20 people who applied with the same no. of pts you have.

18pts 2012 there were 9 people who applied, one drew the bonus tag.
That's 21 people ahead of you, with one drawing the bonus tag each year, that's 21 years to clear those guys ahead of you out of the bonus point pool (this of course assuming none of them draw the non-bonus tag). 20 people in your group, assuming none of them draw the non-bonus tag, that's another 20 years wait assuming you're luck is bad and you are the last one to draw, you could be looking at 41 years my friend before you are assured of drawing the Heneries rifle tag--a bit different with a ML or bow but not too much.
My guess is your horses and you will likely be dead by then.
