Wolf or German Shepard?

So what's your thoughts wolf or domesticated dog? I'm not a wolf expert and I looked over tons of pics to try to find a color phase like that and couldn't find anything. Any wolf experts on here what do you think. Read the story as well. If they were dogs in Idaho which is where they are reported to be shot is it legal to kill a domestic dog on the winter range. Also Pic #4 looks like there was a collar on at one time.

MM is full of high school drama queens that have nothing better to do than talk ##### and worry about what other people are doing.

Personally, I think they are dogs. That said, I don't care either way. They don't belong in the wild. He did them, us and the wildlife a favor. That's 2 less hungry wild animals to feed our wildlife to
 
whether they are feral dogs or wolves, he made the right choice. Just last week driving through Idaho I saw 3 dogs running wild on winter range, no collars or anything to suggest they are pets. I thought at the time someone needs to shoot those.

When domesticated dogs run wild in a pack they become different and dangerous to wild game and livestock. Shoot 'em all!

Speaking of drama queens. You deserve an Academy Award for that performance. Oh the humanity!

The big mistake I see is posting it for all the world to see and criticize. I'm sure the Subaru crowd will get hold of this and blow it sky high. Sometimes things are better kept quiet. I really don't get people parading they're entire existence on the Internet. But that's just me.
 
I was thinking the same 1911, but figured I'd just bite my tongue and not get drug into the sh*t show. Have fun though, I'll just watch:)
 
The guy on Instagram said he left his back pack behind and when he came back for it an hour later the dogs were laying 10 yards away from his pack. That, and the filed-off teeth, should pretty much answer the question.
 
No offense taken ID_Elkmagnet I figured you were refering to the shooter. Stick sender I thought the same thing. I'm far from an expert on wolves but everyone I've ever talked to about them said when they see a human they usually don't hang out to long and I think a wolf wouldn't like the sweaty sent coming off of a backpack.

Hello. My name is Shaun. And I support all hunters and types of hunting. Do you?

He tagged the 2 wild dogs with wolf tags. The kid wasn't trying to play games. He was trying to do it legally. He got excited, so a large dog and thought it was a wolf. I know most wouldn't admit it, but MANY utards would have done the same thing and not thought twice about it. Most wouldn't ever know the difference. Hell a couple years ago a guy killed a wolf in Utah "thinking" it was a "coyote", and everyone gave him a pat on the back. Same kinda deal. Only backwards.

I'm a dog fan to the highest degree. And think of my dogs more family than some of my actual family members. And I still don't have any hard feeling about this kid shooting wild dogs that he thought were wolves. Yes he should have properly identified his targets before he shot them, but the good news is, either way what he did is legal and he helped out the wildlife. If that's too hard for you to see past, well I guess you've got a few personal issues to work out yourself
 
Well sad part is he laughed about it after they were confirmed shepards. Even posted a meme with no remourse makes me wonder if there was any remourse about shooting a branch bull up by strawberry during the spike only hunt. And i'm sorry I'm not a wolf hunter but I know what a german shepard is and I would have probably whistled seeing a german shepard let alone 2 by a backpack. And he's trying to make it to where he makes money on youtube and has sponsors. But he needs to think of the viewers as his customers their viewership depends on his paycheck. Instafame worked out well for J-lewy mr Wyohighcountry this guy is heading down the same road with his I'm a victom attitude. So the morale of the story is don't bite the hand that feeds you and know what the hell you're shooting at from 10 yds.

I have a friend who owns some foothill ground surrounded by BLM. He used to spray paint his herding dogs orange in the fall, which, until now I always thought was a bit dramatic.


Im starting to notice a trend though, poaching, illegality, or questionable, 2 of our members seem to always pop up defending the "hunter"

You know, come to think of it, hey, I got a couple "mountain lions" living in my house that I wouldn't miss much, even got a tree if you want to tree them first. Pay no attention to the collar with the little bells, there DWR tracking collars.

2 years ago my German Shepherd ran off while spike hunting near Currant Creek. I spent several days trying to find her only to get 1 glimpse of her high-tailing the other direction.

Thought for sure someone with a rifle would smack her assuming she was a big coyote. Luckily a few days later she was found about 50 miles away from where I lost her. I considered myself and her lucky.

Too many people now days are too quick to shoot and not confirm their target then claim ignorance. Or they are just too willing to kill something, even if it requires them to "bend the rules a little"

She came back with a hip out of place. A thousand dollars later and a hip surgery she's recovering. It sucks to pay a 1000 dollars but at least we got her back and some sick Jeffery Dahmer like social media A## Hat didn't shoot her.

I would love to meet you. i would actually drive a good distance to meet you just so i could confront you and do to you what i cant say on this forum. you are the biggest peice of crap i have ever seen and should not be aloud to post on this site.
