Arizona strip question

I leave tomorrow afternoon to head to Beaver Dam Arizona to spend 4 days with my in laws who have a little property down there. I've only been to that property once. I don't have a lot planned while there and a friend mentioned the bucks on the strip. Which I've heard about but never knew the area or unit of the state it was in. But doing some research tonight I realized I'll be in unit 13b. I don't know when they shed their antlers down there and don't know where to go to shed hunt but if someone could point me in the right direction or offer some info, it would be appreciated. I've spent my hole life as a Utah resident and I don't know crap about the Arizona strip other than the deer are HUGE. So any help would be awesome. Feel free to pm me.

Theodore Roosevelt's guidance concerning
conservation...
"The movement for the conservation of wildlife,
and the conservation of all our natural resources,
are essentially democratic in spirit, purpose and
method."

"We do not intend that our natural resources shall
be exploited by the few against the interests of the
majority. Our aim is to preserve our natural
resources for the public as a whole, for the
average man and the average woman who make
up the body of the American people."

"It is in our power...to preserve game..and to give
reasonable opportunities for the exercise of the
skill of the hunter, whether he is or is not a man of
means."

Sounds like regardless, you're going to be doing some shed hunting on the AZ Strip whether you get any insight from members here or not . And it sounds like you're not too familiar w/ the area . So, I will do my good deed for the day and provide ya some insight . Take that long dirt road heading south from Mesquite NV . From a long ways you can see a water tank , don't go to the water tank just keep taking the main road heading south and it'll get you to the top of the Mountain . on your way out there , right off the main road in plain sight you'll come to a Spring and water trough w/ gold fish in it . If you keep heading south onto the main road , you'll come to another spring and water trough just off the road to your left . Either place holds Deer . In all honesty, the whole region out there has had 200" class Buck at one time or another . Look around in the junipers and Buck Brush areas where ever there is water . There is really not much more I can say . But wish ya the best of luck . If you find anything , please share w/ some great pics and your great experience that you had . Hope this info helps .
