Well my girl snagged a crazy deer when she was 13. I haven't ever posted any pics of the deer because we were going to maybe try to get in a magazine or something. But now that she is almost 15 and we decided no to pursue anything like that I thought I would just share a pic because I still like coming on here to see some cool animals.

Anyway here you go 34" 6x6 scores ? Never really cared that much in the 180's ish net.
Also I was with her on a public land hunt with here bow the shot was 39 yards. It was absolutely one of the most exciting hunting moments I've had. The deer ran about 400 yards after a high lung shot. But it was all hugs and smiles when we found him after letting two of the most gut wrenching hours pass.

Wow, if I could shoot one like that I'd be in 7th heaven!!! To be with her to do that with a bow at 13 has to really be gratifying.

Most hunters could hunt their entire lives and never have an opportunity at a buck like that with a rifle and your girl was able to get it done with her bow.

Great job on a great buck!

That is a tremendous buck even better with a bow and your 13 year old daughter!
I couldn't have held out 2 years with not showing off that buck, even waiting on a magazine....

Congrats

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

What an awesome mule deer for such a young lady bowhunter. Congratulations to her and kudos to dad for introducing her to the outdoors. Well done.

You two are not much older than that big buck!
Congratulations on a buck of several lifetimes!

Nice deer Jeff. Too bad you dont know a good taxidermist to have done the mount for you:)

I think I saw that at Sams when I picked up mine. Your daughter is a lucky 1. Good Job.

Beauitful deer and with a bow and at the age of 13 Congrats That's awesome

Thanks for the responses you guys are kind

Robiland, Yes that was her deer getting done at Sam's shop funny small world. How did your stuff turn out I have always had great luck with Sam.

Also when we got the deer I told her she was probably the same age as the deer. It had absolutely no teeth I figured it was declining and probably wouldn't have lasted thru the winter. A few guys I showed it too said the same thing I would have loved to see him in his prime.

Anyway thanks again for the kind comments. I am a sucker for my girls smile ill give up another pic that I haven't posted that show off her grin even though its an antelope and were in the mule deer section

She has been lucky at both getting tags and during the hunts

Jeff, I have not been as "LUCKY" as you and your family for drawing tags, But the deer I shoot 2 yrs ago looks great. Sam does an amazing job. He really is one of the better people out there. Good luck drawing your tags AGAIN this year. I am hoping for my Colorado deer tag this year and with some luck, my nevada deer and elk.
