Wildlife board looks at scopes on muzz guns

In the wildlife board meetings this week I see on the agenda the use of scopes for muzzleloaders. Anybody heard what they are going to discuss. Taking them away or using something more then 1 power scope. What do you think

I shoot open sights on mine.

I sure hope they don't change anything. I see little difference between a 1x scope and open sights. I fear that adding a 9x scope would change the dynamics of the hunt. Like hunting with a single shot rifle. It will be interesting to see what they come up with. Just curious as to why the change now after so long?

I hope they keep it the same as it is now.

This is hearsay but I think it's just to decide if a hunter can use a higher power scope during the "any weapon" season.
I don't think they're looking at rule changes for the muzzle loader season at all.
It would be kind of the same thing as using a rifle with a scope during the any weapon season. No big deal.
