Looks like my Step Dad drew the a management hunt tag on the Paunsaugunt!
We've hunted there on two occasions but the last was over 10 years ago. Would love to hear from those of you who spend time out there or have hunted it in recent years.
How many management bucks (definition: mature buck that qualifies as management) is one likely to see over the course of a 5-day hunt? Where are the deer likely to be elevation wise the last week of October? Any chance of a little rutting activity starting about then?
