My daughter drew a MZ Deer tag on Thousand Lake (Utah). I hunted the unit last year with my MZ and took a small 4 point. I'd be interested in talking with anyone who has hunted the west side of the range. Have you seen many deer over 22?? Any suggestions on water locations, I need to get her a good rest with lots of time to shoot.

Maybe you should forget about hunting & work on your yard this Fall?

Get a good bipod for the gun and one of the red dot scopes and have her do alot of shooting with light loads. that should help her alot. cant help on where to hunt there yet but i will be going down there scouting in june, if i find a good spot for a ambush i'll let you know, good luck

I have a bipod on it, and the load worked up.
