I'm a little surprised that the buck they killed hasn't been posted on here yet!! 276 . and a mainframe of 240!!

That scenery you speak of just makes that deer that much more impressive!! ;-)

>ok so where's this pic??????

I can't find it either.

Grizzly

PS. Tristate, please be an adult and respect my wishes that you do not respond to any of my posts. I, in turn, will do you the courtesy of not responding to any of yours. I simply do not wish to converse with you.

I wonder why he has bald patches on his neck? Ticks and old age maybe. The ugliest cape in the world on one of the biggest bucks that will be taken in the world this year. Also looks like they are on the edge of the grand canyon.

Hell of a buck. Congrats to the hunter and the helpers.

Can a buck be entered more than once, say as a NT and a TYP?

Disappointed in the lack of a "team" photo though... I mean there are 8 different guides in the pictures, plus the hero and his wife. I guess 10 would be couple short for a standard MB photo? :D

Imagine what he'd of been if He'd of finished Sproutin!:D

From the looks of him, I'd say he was domne growing, just not completely hardened. Sweet buck, killed on the last week of his hunt.

Theres logic, and theres women. They don't go together.

No they can't. They have to chose one or the other. Not both.

Sweet buck! Strange that tags are a year long but that is a whole nuther thread.

World class mainframe!! I thought the 2012/2013 tag holder could hunt for a couple more week?? Congrats to the hunter.

Just an observation...it ALMOST appears that the right G4 is close to being an inline point instead of a front fork. The buck is a thousand life times buck. Was it a Strip or a Kaibab buck? What a HODAD.

BCBoy said, "No they can't. They have to chose one or the other. Not both."

You are both right.

The buck can be measured for both but eventually it would be up to the owner to decide which category, typical or non-typical, one or the other, it would be entered into "the Book" being "Records of North American Big Game"

I believe this to be the way it has been done for years and years!

Congrats to the Proud owner of this huge Muley!!

Rumor has it of a 30+ inch main beam on that right side

So without the extras, especially that sick in-line, are we looking at the typical world record?

WOW
Just think what the first guy to spot him was thinking, World Record Maybe.
MB guys did it again for sure.

Bess, you may be right. I was only thinking about B&C. Being this is a velvet buck perhaps they will enter it SCI. I have no idea what the rules are for that. If it is SCI they probably will create a new category for 'Goes both ways' and declare it a World Record. ;)

For you guys who want to know where the pic was taken. The mnts in the back are Mt Trumbul Mt. Logan and Mt Emma. This buck has the same frame as Blake Chapman's buck he shot on the strip a few years back.same big inline and a couple extra's--Blake's was'nt near as big though.Still I think Blake's buck had a main frame over 212.

Recently, someone mentioned that 13a didn't receive as much moisture as 13b this past year. I assume that this buck was shot in 13a. So, does that mean that 13b will produce a 300" HODAD? Just asking.

Where it was shot I can't tell you ,but the canyon is Parashant on the Grassy side looking back into 13a.Many bucks are photoed there cool looking back drop for your pic.

I heard it was shot in 13B.

I don't know if anybody was interested in the camo nighty on the camp cook? How come my hunting camp doesn't have a camp cook that looks like that? :) Oh yes, awesome buck also!

That is quite the specimen.... I'm usually pretty calm and collected, in front of trophies, but I might start shaking violently if I had that one in front of me. Amazing buck!!

What dreams are made of right there. Congrats to the hunter. That sure had to be a pretty special sight/feeling seeing what I dream of every night and then being able to calm yourself to make an amazing ethical shot. Outstanding. All I really can say is WOW !!!

So,,,Was the deer killed with Tory Brock or Mossback? Is Mossback the same as Tory Brock? Is Mossback productions the same as Mossback AZ? On the youtube video I seen it said he was killed with Tory Brock.

You should call Tory and ask him the same questions you are asking on the net. You'll probably get a more honest answer
