Kicking around you tube found a cut of Colorado Buck out on the island last year with the draw hunter and Doyle Moss. Pretty good show, for some reason they spent a lot of time trying to convince the viewer how big antelope island is. And somehow they got to drive around the west side of the island. Having said that it was a good commercial for next years auction, aka the dinner in honor of Denny. So they kill the deer, and towards the end of the show they have it in the truck, its dark, and I am pretty sure that local celebrity Yelum is front and center in the shot. Anyway, whether you support the hunt or not, or if you haven't seen the deer out there it is interesting.

Yelum, if thats you are you now part of the screen actors guild? Will you be doing a spin off? My friend I have been waiting for you and one of my favorite hunters to do a show, The Yelum and Tred show. I loved his show pre paralysis, and love his spirit, post.

That was indeed me. Doyle called me as they were coming off the island, and asked if I would bring this bucks sheds out to compare, and give me a chance to see the buck up close, that I had spent so much time filming. I also watched that video last week, and it was well done, but watching that deer die was not enjoyabl for me.

Theres logic, and theres women. They don't go together.

I agree. We all know my position on the whole thing so I won't get on my soap box. That was a good commercial for Mossback. Doyle came off as a really good guy(not saying he isn't, I don't know him), but I bet he picks up some buisness from it. I enjoyed seeing the deer I had seen last year on TV, and I thought the gentleman who drew the tag seemed like a good dude, glad he got to enjoy it with his boys. We are heading out tonight, haven't been out since june, marroon s-10 blazer, if you see me, run me off the road and say hello, someday perhaps we will meet in person.

Was anyone else a tad bothered by watching Doyle pick up that set of sheds, and walk off with them, while us common folk pay $50 and get one day to try and pick something up?

That set Doyle picked was not on the island. Believe it was the Henrys.

Hoss, I haven't spent much time out there this year, but will continue to watch for you.

Great to see a good ole boy harvest a buck of his dreams. That buck had to be getting close to being coyote bait.
Good on Doyle for helping the hunter cull one of the largest and oldest bucks out there.
The coyotes on the island are ridiculous. I watched five dogs chasing a perfectly healthy 190" buck, they didn't get him. The bucks out there need to be at the top of there game to withstand five coyotes at once!

I'm not sure why I'm responding, because I really don't care, but the context of the episode certainly implies that he is picking those sheds up on the island. The entire episode (Where in the World is Colorado Buck?) is focused entirely on the island, and the background commentary while Doyle is picking up the sheds is talking about how Doyle has done all of the leg work for the hunts out there, spent 2-3 days a week on the island, and knows all of the bucks by name. Just sayin'
