Is this the same buck?

We watched this buck last year and hoped he would be back again for this fall. Last year he was a real good 4x4, but he looks to have completely lost the one back fork this year. Is it common for a buck to make such a drastic change?

Any thoughts on what this buck might score? If he makes it another year what are the chances he returns to be a 4x4?

i would say yes. His "brow line" (for lack of a better term) seems the same. He has a mean scowl!

Yeah that guy doesn't look happy. He must not like trail cams either. LOL

Looks like the same buck to me with a little more mass instead of the back fork. He has what looks like a scar on his right shoulder in both photos...

Not sure why my pictures are not showing up, but I will work on getting them re-posted.

Not sure why the pictures quit working, but here they are again.

Thanks for the looking.

Definitely the same buck. He has a unique scowl to his face. He's a flippin monster!!! I've seen deer lose/gain mainframe points year to year.

Notice in 12 the left g2/3 split is kind of weak. His g2 this year is a baseball bat! Just never split.

How did you get the 2013 photo? Trailcam? You should touch that pic up with Photoshop and send it to the camera company. Theyd probably send you a free camera or two for the pic--it is unreal!

ADDICT, thanks for the comments. Ya it is a trail camera picture. Lighting and everything was perfect, if only the big boy would have smiled. He always seems to have a scowl on his face.

(I know score is not everything, in fact it means very little if the hunter likes a buck than he should shoot regardless of numbers)
