And a Few Big Bucks Wounded too!

No doubt Chris---we will see follow up post about how they practice out to 100 yards and had no problem taking a chip shot @ 75 yards....

Followed up with the damn deer took 1 little step and I ...blah...blah..blah...but I got another bigger buck today.....

Tag is good for one animal I thought.....not until the one that ya find and tag after many 'practice shots'.....

Hopefully those wounded deer will fatten up my bear for next month. There's always a bright side cat.

You wanna see sad... go to the lee kay center a week before the rifle deer hunt. I could shoot a better group with my bow at a 100 yards than 3 quarters of those people can with there rifles. Now thats sad!
 
Lol 31 I'm right there with ya. Then there's the ones that shoot out too or if not further than 1000 yards. C'mon now
 
Its horrible man. I genuinely feel bad for the deer after looking at some of those targets. Most pull out there grandpas 100 year old 06 and fire 5 quick arounds and 3 will hit a 24in by 24in target and say thats good enough for me! Lol I just laugh. I mean I know alot people dont put in as much time as others but c'mon people!
 
Like I have said before bobcat must work for the friggin' NSA with the amount of "inside info" he has on all the wounded animals, either that or he has the best network of hunters in the field known to man. It is eerily strange though how bobcats "wound" stories are always during the bowhunt.

I call BS bobcat - you just love stirrin the ole pot :)
 
Yep just stirring up crap and trying to divide hunters. Where is the proof? What evidence does he have? Also many animals are wounded every year and still live. I am certain the average person has wounded more animals with their cars than I have ever wounded and not recovered with my bow.

Of course we all know elkassin would never and has never wounded an animal and all his kills the animal never takes a step.

3 Super Nice Bucks(Just 3 that I know of,there's more!)that have an Arrow in them & the Bears have probably made Nice Meals out of them by now as Hot as it is!

Call BS all you want,these are only the BIG Bucks I know of that were not recovered,there's a Hell of a lot more than I know about!

If this Thread gets just one Stick Flipper Thinkin & gets Him/Her to spend a little more time on the recovery I feel I have done My Job!:D

Just spent 10 days on the SJ hunting~ and have not seen or heard anything of the sorts. in town, out of town, on the Mtn,in the dirt or in the green.
Would love to agree because Im not a fan of the bow. Has nothing to do with wounding or the hunters, just not my thing. great thing about MM is you can say anything you want without having to prove it and all of a sudden its true.... maybe Brian should change the name to Iheard.com

But I'm sure You'll be Quick to tell us how many Rifle & Muzz Hunters have Wounded Animals in your Career!

If you don't believe a Few Big Bucks got Wounded on SJ recently you must of been mighty Secluded while you werte Huntin there!

I just wanted to make it clear that I have no intention of ruffling any feathers. Im a dedicated hunter so I hunt all three. I believe ya bessy. Dont gotta be mad at me. I just know all hunters as a general rule need to practice with there weapon of choice more than just the week before the hunt. I anit scared to say I have wounded a few that gotta way. Most were because my poor lack of judgement and I tried to learn from them and move on. Happens to everyone including the rifle hunters. One year I counted 4 wounded bucks in 3 days on a rifle hunt (wished I had a gun and wasnt just helping so I could put them down). I have also seen a few animals that looked like porpines with so many arrows hanging out them. Unfortunately I dont think it'll change anytime soon. Besides if it did what would we complain about?

The most classic post was last year when someone posted about hitting a good bull on the rifle shoot on the Fishlake and he went down, rolled down the hill etc and they never found him.

And all the post were these empathy posts, offering condolences and that losing game is part of hunting.

Had that been an archery post it would of been lit up like a Christmas tree!

Long live archery hunters.

I'd Guess around 9 or 10?

Don't know how many Expo/Conservation/Money Tags there'd be on top of that?

Elkassassassassin, seems to have the inside track on every deer, elk,moose, cow, sheep, robin, sparrow, and grasshopper that gets wounded or poached in this state. Makes me think it's him doing it, then blaming everyone else. He might claim he passed math but you can sure as $hit guarantee he failed English. You can also guarantee he was kicked out of home school for being a dumb a$$ and the teachers were embarrassed by his stupidity.
