So I don't have the full story but I know this is around N. Logan and Sat on this porch after being wounded. This was about a week ago and was reported but I haven't heard anything on it yet. Could have been a vehicle but could have been an arrow. anyone know any more about this deer. Sucks for the guys that have been fighting over his sheds ;)

Yeah that's narrows he's the other deer in my original post that was shot with an arrow. He's all infected there. He was literally rotting alive.

. The local police shot him to put him out of his misery. it really breaks my heart to see him there. To those who thought the story was exaggerated, here's your evidence!!! I watched him grow from a tiny little four point his yearling year to a decent buck last year to what he was this year. He had potential to be a great 200 inch deer I fed him all winter to help him make it through from his broken leg two years ago and have had great memories watching him. whoever you are you really deserve to feel like a d!ck and I really hope you learned from your mistake! To those who have nothing wrong with shooting city deer, just keep in mind that to some people they are literally pets they feed watch and take care of. I had a lot of sentimental connection to this deer. He was basically my local dog with antlers.

Sad we have so many poacher losers out there! I hope they are prosecuted. I'm a die hard hunter, but love to watch them just as much. The real hunters are also your best conservationists.

TrophyMuley - you fed him through the winter..?? Um, what were you thinking..?? While I've never looked into it in Utah (I will now), I know this is illegal in some states out west here.

I didn't think anyone fed wild animals anymore. Do we really need to put up signs that say "Please don't feed the wildlife"..? Not having a fear of humans + stupid poachin jerks brought this deer to an undeserving demise long before his time... TrohpyMuley, you and others who consider these deer "pets" or "local dogs with antlers" share a part in this disgusting incident...

Is that Doyle's signature in the top pick??

Trophymuley, the deer still belong to the state of Utah! Not you! I can understand your emotional relationship with "narrows" and the other buck (I didnt catch his name). But All you can do is give your evidence and information to the proper authority. And let them decide if any laws have been broken.

If the hunter had the correct tag and the city and/or county ordinance allows him to harvest the buck then good for him! To each their own! If thats not the case then let the law sort it out. Its out of your hands!!

On second thought if you would have been a better pet deer handler maybe you could have prevented this rant!

I would say that is "road rash" vehicle related type of an injury just judging the first pic posted. It hard to tell but unless someone knows for sure the shouldn't start tearing down archers.

Antleraddict, read the original post i made about these deer in the mule deer forum (this is ridiculous) it will shed more Info on the subject.

That's my signature on the picture and yes I did feed him. It's called winter feeding and its not a bear. The state supports it and actually has many winter feeding stations in which they feed deer during the winter. do you think leaving some hay out is going to cause the deer to attack? So leaving feed out for deer to stay healthy and Simply having a hobby of photographing and watching city deer is now considered disgusting and wrong? I will just agree to disagree. Feeding this deer did not contribute to his lack of fear from people. it was the fact that it was born in the city and lived there its entire life.

You know trophymuley it is interesting to sit back and read the things you write and think that you are not much different from the guy that killed this buck?!! You are the one that trespasses and poaches antlers all spring long! You most likely trespassed to pick up narrows horns ! Please do us all a favor and quit posting! Ps tell you cousin thanks for bringing Dole Moss to the cache!!
