Later that hunt... he also went home with a herd bull.

Very nice buck and the bull isn't so bad either. That's some awesome country they were hunting. Congrats to hunter and guide.

That's a great buck and bull. The only thing that would of made it better is a nice wolf harvest pic. Congrats.

BEST COMBO HUNT IN THE WEST!
(Deer, Elk, Bear, & Wolf) General Tags, OTC. Hunt every year. The hunt is a rifle hunt for 2013.
This hunt offers it all, easy to difficult hikes, trail rides on horses, or road hunting from Polaris Rangers & Pickup trucks, or sitting on bear baits couple 100 yards from road.

The area holds some great bucks. Easy to get discouraged as you get eye fatigue just looking all over the unit. Tough to concentrate on task of glassing everywhere. With the unit in half burn landscape... the animals blend in very well.

Because of the degree of difficulty in accessing this area. And the toll wolves have had on the animals... it was a huge success for our clients and Wild Idaho Outfitters.

We did well...

Two bucks
Four elk
Two bears
0 wolves but they were heard several times and sighted a couple times.

Man you don't see those units produce bucks like that very often anymore! Great job! That's not easy country to hunt...
