After eight great days of hunting, I decided to close the deal on this old buck. Bedded him from about a quarter mile away and was able to sneak right in on him. I got him up and his "stop and look" stance at 140 yards did him in with a single shot.

This photo shows his 6 inch kicker off his left mainbeam.

Got him cleaned up and snapped a photo of him (left) with bucks I killed in the same area in 2012 and 2009.

Can't think of a better way to spend a week! As always NV sunrises and sunsets never disappoint.

Great buck! cool to see how the genetics carry over in a specific area.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

Nice group of bucks, The genetic are all the same on each buck as I see it, a Good buck spot always will have another buck move in after you take the one that lives there now. Good hidey holes are a special find.

Congrats on a good buck. nice pics and you are evidently luckier than me. Two licenses in a row in Nevada. I can't draw every 5th year.

Congrats on another fine trophy! Looks like you have done very well over the past few years!

Thank you for sharing!

Pretty darn impressive bucks!
Not too many guys ever get 1 like that, let alone 3 great bucks within 5 years! Well done.
