Can anyone tell me how the weather has been on the books? Has it snowed or just rained? And have the deer moved down at all yet.
Thanks in advance.

I was there for the muzzleloader and it snowed on us pretty hard but nothing really stuck. I was there opening week so the 23-28 my dad went back up the next week and there weren't nearly as many deer on top as the week before. It has rained a lot more down in the valley since then and it's a lot colder. I'm sure they have some snow up there now so I'm sure they have all moved down now.

Talked this afternoon to a friend that has been there all week. Rain, rain and more rain. MUDDY MESS!

Trix4me pretty well summed it up. Oil patch boys are even being held back some and its still raining.

But by GAWD it don't take long for them U-Tards to get there with all the Unethical BS and the New Technology!

I was told the deer are starting to move down at a pretty good rate.

Just came in yesterday. Mud snow and rain. Still a little snow on top but not enough to make a difference. The deer move down the same time every year snow or no snow. I'd say about a quarter of the deer were down. A quarter on top. And half in transit. Most of the does and small bucks will be there by next week. Just like every year.

Spike elk hunters under every tree.
