Robiland, that works for a lot of guys out there but so does this, "if you ever want to kill a monster buck, you can't go shooting the first nice one that comes along."
I've gone home empty several times smiling because though tempted by large quantities of nice but lesser bucks, i held out for Mr Big and didn't compromise what i had set out to do.
It's one of those "to each their own" deals, neither hunter is in the wrong.
Advice?, if you have a variable powered scope, put it on 5-6 power and leave it there. I'd wager thousands of bucks each year are still roaming because of guys fumbling around, messing with their scope at the most critical time when they already should have had their Buck on the dirt!
