So dad got it done opening day. We saw a lot of deer (not as many as we used to see). Our count for the day was a 117 deer seen, and 33 were bucks. Dad is pretty happy as this is the best buck I can ever remember him taking.
Shot was 256 yards straight up hill at last light. He is not the biggest buck in the unit, but he was a good mature buck probably 5-6 years old. Big body thick neck, etc. Someday I will cash in my points are get to hunt a decent CO unit!!!
