Had a great general season Utah hunt. Took my boys, bro, dad and a bro-n-law spectator who's never hunted. Had such a great time. Bro has never shot a buck, so he was happy. Dad loves the meat, he was happy. I found a burned out hole that no one was willing to hike in to, I was happy (especially for a general season buck!). The boys shot .22s, found sheds, got blood on their hands and ate deer heart, they were happy. Couldn't have asked for a better time in the field.

Thats awesom. Did you cape it out for a full body mount?

Theres logic, and theres women. They don't go together.

Ha, no full body mount, just the old hanging from the barn skinning job. I did throw the cape in the freezer. Good memories, a mount would be nice. But who am I kidding, it'll sit like the other 3 I have to mount with no time to do it. Maybe this winter...maybe.

You guys made some great memories and passed on some valuable learning experiences to those little guys. Congrats to all of you on your success.

That is what it is all about. Quality family time generating lifelong memories. How awesome is that!
