LAST EDITED ON Nov-12-13 AT 09:11PM (MST)[p] I saw Founder had posted pics of my daughters first buck and thought I would tell a little about the hunt. Thanks Founder and Jose.
Due to the fact that my wife had given birth to our third girl three weeks earlier, she decided to stay home. So my two oldest and I, along with my mom and dad, went without her.
Rilee had hit a small buck earlier in the hunt, and after looking nearly two days and not finding him she was a little discouraged. But on the last day, on our way back to camp, we ran into this buck headed for Wyoming. Two shots later at 175 yards he took a dirt nap 32 feet from the Wyoming/Utah fence. (She had to measure)
This hunt is definitely in the top two most memorable hunts I've been on.
P.S. My five year old doesn't always hunt in her pajamas, but without the wife its a lot easier to just throw her snowsuit on and go!!

Congrats and nothing wrong with PJs. One of my photos that I really remember is of my twins in PJs and purple Barney slippers following us with a nice 3X3 headed back to the vehicle. Unforgettable. That is what memories are. Not the buck bug the kids in the middle of it at 3 years old.

That's an awesome buck young lady! I can't wait to take my daughters hunting when they get old enough. Good memories for sure.

That is great! Thanks for sharing the story!

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-13-13 AT 09:33AM (MST)[p]Thanks for posting part 2 and sharing the story Gunner, good times and memories once again congrats on your first buck Rilee! sincerly Uncle Jose, aka Casador.

Congrats to you and your daughter on some nice bucks. Those pics will be priceless to them in 20 years.

I talked to Rilee last night all about her deer. She was still beaming with excitment! The way she told the story, you could just see how much fun she had. We saw your dad up there, he said you'd just dropped off into the nasty stuff, sounds like you found what you were looking for!

Nothing better than takin' the girls huntin'.

I've done the same for 4 daughters and they're grown, married and all accomplished hunters. I'm a proud papa too!

Well done cute family!
