Our family was very fortunate this year to have a great year of hunting. All of us were on public land general season tags. This first bruiser was taken by my dad on his gen muzz hunt. 34 1/2 wide, the story is in EHJ this month.
My brother took this one on the same hunt.

I took this buck in the gen archery hunt.
Another bro-in-law took his first buck on the gen rifle.
This was an exceptional year, we spent a ton of time scouting and it paid off. We were able to take 5 mature bucks on general season tags, two of them are book deer. This will be a year we won't soon forget.
