Our family was very fortunate this year to have a great year of hunting. All of us were on public land general season tags. This first bruiser was taken by my dad on his gen muzz hunt. 34 1/2 wide, the story is in EHJ this month.

This was an exceptional year, we spent a ton of time scouting and it paid off. We were able to take 5 mature bucks on general season tags, two of them are book deer. This will be a year we won't soon forget.

That is gettin' it done. Congrats on the awesome year. Gonna be tough to beat.

You have every right to feel bragadocious!
That's a year for the "books" alright.
Congratulations to you all on making great memories and taking great bucks!

Thanks guys the top buck is top 20 all time long gun typical, not bad for public land, my archery buck also goes well into the typical archery book. The memories from hunting with family is far more important than that. Thanks everyone.
