I was able to pick up this buck from my taxidermist today. This buck has been a long time coming. This buck was killed by my father in law over 30 years ago. It had mostly been hanging in his garage collecting dust because he never could find the time or money to get it mounted. He is the kind of guy who does everything for everyone else, so even though he could have paid to have it done a number of times, the money always went to help someone else. I ended up having it mounted this year with the cape from my 2012 buck. This buck will hang in my basement as a tribute to my father in law, who from day one welcomed me into his family and has been my hunting partner for the last 12 years. Pictures don't do this mount justice. My taxidermist, Evans Taxidermy, did an outstanding job.
