Whitetail deer near Provo ?

There few and far between. For instance 3 years ago I seen one that got put down because it was hit by a car and had a broken back. The little guy was a whitetail, but a spike.

I am 100% sure that I saw a whitetail doe in Lehi 2 years ago. It was near Utah Lake and others had to have seen her where it was at...very near to the pump station outlet park.

My buddy got video 2 weeks ago of a small whitetail buck, up near Heber. There are definitely a few around.

You guys need to push for seasons on those little rascals regardless how 'few and far between' they are. That right there is the biggest threat to your mule deer. When they take hold, and they will, you better have a plan in place.

Yes however the thing about them is once our fish and lame manage them to get rid of them they will over populate, and when they manage them to increase the herd sizes, they will die off. This is the problem, its really our dumb fish and game. They also say there are NO wolfs in Utah guess my trail camera was abducted by aliens and then placed back onto my property a day later right?

The fish and game there should just clasify Whitetails as non-game animals and allow for them to be killed by any licensed deer hunter with a valid tag for that area. The hunter would not have to use their tag and the deer would be removed from the area.
The real trouble will be when a vocal minority of hunters petition the fish and game to protect the whitetails until a sustaining population exists to hunt.
