So I made a little modification to the forum here so that Youtube video clips can be embedded in your posts. If anyone would like to know how, you can view instructions on the posting form. Look for "Share YouTube Video Clips! See How ... Instructions Here" above the data field where you enter your text. Or email me.

I know a number of you post links to Youtube clips, and it would be nicer for people to view them here without needing to leave the site.

Here's a beast. Little Antelope Island buck Mossback turned up.

That is a heck of a great buck!!! The funny thing I noticed is when they walked up to the buck, the hunter drops his gun on the ground. I thought that was kind of funny. I guess excitement got the best of him:)

Thanks so much for that new feature Brian. Youtube videos are blocked at work but I was able to see this. It was great! That
was also my first ever look at the island that I have heard so much about. I cant believe some people make it out that this is a hunt where you drive up in your pickup and get out and shoot a tame deer. This looked like true hunting in every sense of the word. The hunter had a guide so what? Most people who don't live there and don't know the land *would* need a guide if they wanted to shoot a deer like that monster.

Is it just me that can't see the imbeded video? Just see a big blank space on the page between the last sentance of your message and your signature.

My hunting spot is so secret, not even the elk have found it yet.

Actually lvtohuntnfish, the next year Denny drove up, got out of the truck, walked a few hundred yards, and shot the biggest deer killed in 19 years in UT. He was never more than 400 yards from the pavement. Mostly thats due to where this buck chose to rut.
Just letting you know.

Great feature Brian.

Yelum

Theres logic, and theres women. They don't go together.

Hunt and Fish....you most definately would not need a guide to shoot a buck like that on the Island, just saying.

Sit tall in the saddle, hold your head up high, keep your eyes fixed to where the trail meets the sky...

I have had the same problem in the past. If I click to make it full screen it becomes clear. Give that a try.

founder, please take this post down. it's not fair... please please please, it's just not fair. WD should not have been able to hunt before the public hunter. WD should not have been able to buy the tag thousand of people put in for. WD should not have been able to hire good help when the other hunter couldn't. WD should have drawn the tag, hunted DIY, starting same day, with same equipment, no long range, etc.... it's just not fair.

what a joke folks. life's not fair.

billythekid- kind of sounds like your getting liquored up on a Sunday morning, either that or your trying to be sarcastic.

don't drink. full of sarcasm this day as it seems there are far to many folks on this site that have gone down the slippery liberal slope that brings this country down one day/one person at a time.

The kid might be the most indicative part of your post. I didn't detect any whining or complaining in the post, just some guys explaining what Antelope island which I've never seen is like. I'm not sure we have a liberal on this site certainly not Yelum.

So now we bring up the socialistic aspect of hunting.

It's interesting that those who are for more commercialized hunting think their opposition is socialistic. (Opposition is against the free market.)

Conversely, those who want less commercialization think their opposition is socialistic. (Opposition is against freedom for the common man and for a shift to more government control benefits to a select class of people.)

Thanks for the additional feature Founder.

Great looking buck, Love seeing these type of bucks.

The youtube part is a cool addition. Thanks Founder. As for the video of the buck being killed, I only have one question...

Do you have more video of the brunette gal?
