Good bucks, that deep forked buck in pic#4 is a toad.

Kind of a bad time to be advertising the unit though isnt it? You know with the applacation process just ahead. LOL

What cheaters?

txhunter58

venor, ergo sum (I hunt, therefore I am)

The buck in the "live photo" has cheaters on both side between the G2 and G3, at least it looks like from the pictures...

The dead buck has an extra on the right side. you can see it by the hunters right thumb. And I was told that the left side cheater was broken off...

I didn't shoot the buck. He is a friend of a co worker of mine.

Just thought it was interesting that they might be the same buck.

I don't know where it was killed other than the Book Cliffs...

I heard the deep forked buck was killed also but I can't confirm it with pictures or anything...

There is only one area where you can find that many nice bucks. It looks like the Henry mtns.

Was it me or did it seem that this unit upped the age class this year? I felt that more older class bucks were starting to re-establish themselves once again. I was thoroughly excited to see mule deer make some progress on units to actually look like a healthy herd once again. I do believe this is the bookcliffs unit as I did see the deep fork buck with the cheaters this year in late summer.

I do believe that the age class is improving. This too is exicting for me,since I have been waiting for a tag. Hopefully tjis year will be my year. If I do get the tag would you be willing to exchange knowledge DVC ???

Sure, I am not an "expert" like some but would be willing to exchange knowledge. I'm hoping I can pull a tag out of the hat and hunt it while it's making an upward swing.

Awesome photos Ghostbuck. I'll be putting in out there this year it looks like, even with the new unit boundaries. I'd be tickled to see any of these deer on my hunt. I sure hope 10 points gets it done this year...

PM me if you wanna communicate. I see at least one summer scouting trip this year for me. I have some videos on Youtube you may be interested in as well.
