Colorado Regulations arrived in mail today

I recieved my Colorado regs in the mail today, not many changes but eager to get them in just like all the other draws.

READ THE WHATS NEW FOR 2007...PAGE 1. HABITAT STAMP. I HUNTED COLORADO IN 2006 NO STAMP WAS IN THE REGS. THEN FOR NR HUNTERS. YD.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-25-07 AT 10:29AM (MST)[p]The "new" part for 2007 is that they won't mail your limited license to you until you buy the habitat stamp. Last year you just had to buy it before going afield.

Edit: By the way, the second line in the 2006 regs under "What's new for 2006": Habitat Stamp: Hunters, anglers and visitors to state wildlife areas must buy a Habitat Stamp. See "Habitat Stamp."

My understanding is point-banking is out for '07? What is meant by purging after the '07 draws?

It means if you have points and have not applied for three consecutive years, you will lose all of your points.

YOU HAD TO BUY THE HABITAT STAMP EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T HUNT A SWA. YOU HAD TO HAVE AT LEAST ONE STAMP IF YOU HAD A HUNTING LICENSE.

YES, the Habitat Stamp was required and it cost $5.00 and was a three-fold-license since we bought it there after arrival and it was BLUE color.
The front cover of the regulations had the "NOTICE" on the right edge center of the main cover of booklet.
