Let's have a Father's Day Big Buck Photo Contest. Post your best pics of your dad with a big buck(s). Everyone who shares a pic will be entered and I'll randomly pick one winner about June 13th and send them the Ask the Mule Deer Guides Book. Share the photos guys! It'll be cool to see some big stuff.

Here is my Dad with a buck I killed in 2011 on a LE unit in Utah. My dad used to hunt the area 20+ years ago and that moring I told him he was my guide for the day and to take me to a big buck. He didnt disapoint.

He took me to this 192" 5x5 GIANT bodied mellon headed bruiser.

His true love is whitetails though, he has been extremely successful through his entire life hunting these fellas.

Another great whitey he took, Mom goes to help with nearly every deer he shoots too.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

My Dad archery killed this at 65 on the Henry mountains. He is 71 one now and suffering with dimentia. One of the highlights of my life and his for sure. He is pictured with his grandson T.J.
Green scored 206 and netted 194.

This is my dad with one of his best in 1971 southern Big Horn Mtns of Wyo. This was a self-timed picture as he was alone. He is a WWII vet and still alive at 89.

LAST EDITED ON May-27-14 AT 02:24PM (MST)[p]Unfortunately my dad missed, or we would have had a Trifecta in 2013. My dad claimed this was going to be his "last" out of state trip (Traveled to CO. from CA.) with his two sons (and two other great friends), but I did talk him into buying another Pref. Point this year...so hopefully he has another one in him a few years down the road!

Happy Father's Day Dad!

185". His 2nd biggest buck. I have to find a photo of his largest, I was only 1 when he shot that one back in the 70s, but I looked at in the house everyday for my whole childhood.

Here are my dads last three muleys. Was able to be along for all. He only gun hunts so is only able to hunt about every 4 years. Was drawn once more between 2002 and 2009 but didn't get anything. 2009 will likely be his last muley as he is no longer putting in for the draws. Glad to have been able to go with him.

Not really BIG BUCKS, but one of my favorites...I was somehow trying to trump my Dad's buck with this "Big Buck Enhancement" :)
Happy Father's Day Dad! I miss ya!

Here is another pic of Dad with a big whitetail, the day he shot this it was his 3rd buck by noon, all off the same stand.
2678pic_39.jpg

This one he earned the hard way, made a poor shot early in the morning by hitting it in the jaw and spent the rest of the day tracking him. Finally finished it just before dark that day.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-14 AT 09:28AM (MST)[p]Here is a buck my dad(arrowone4me) took a couple years back. I was standing next to him when he took the shot. I had passed on this buck the year before and he was in the exact same place the following season.

I had the wife pick a number and it was 18, so Saskman you are the winner of the book. Not that you need any book on how to kill huge bucks. You should be writing the book!!
I'll shoot you over a PM for your mailing info.

Thanks all for sharing the pics. I think everyone loves to see them.
