Well as many of us are doing now that the draw is out, I am looking for some updated information and to see who has also drawn this tag.

I have hunted the unit 4 years ago (archery) but haven't been back since due to other hunting commitments. I was hoping for info from those who have hunted in 2011, 2012, or 2013. I am wondering what has changed or to hear about others experience.

I also am planning a scouting trip or two just to see some bucks. I am hoping to hook up with others who have the archery, muzzy, or early hunt and share info on scouting and hunting results. It would be great to have a little group to maximize our efforts.

Not much has changed since they created all the new wilderness areas. More wild horses than before. I was there for the elk hunt last year, my wife had the tag. We saw a couple of really nice rutting bucks, upper 180's, but not as many as I have seen in the past, but we were where the elk wanted to be and the deer concentrations were elsewhere. Even though it was a dry year, there was still plenty of water throughout the area.
