I know its a year old now, but I figured with so many guys headin into the Books with their bows, this might get your mind even more distracted from working...

Zigger?s response on 8/12/2014 to anyone that commits suicide.
zigger is a great example of a low life pos, that doesn't deserve any help. There are many things that would be nice to wish for or say but then I would be just like him.

Enjoyed the video. Was already not sleeping but this didn't help. Hoping to see a big one this weekend or next week up there I can sneak in close and zip an arrow into.

Great video, thanks for sharing. I love the buck with the deep fork and long eye guards! Get me excited to get down there and start look for elk for my dad's hunt.

I was thinking about putting in for the book cliffs, is that typical of the books, as I didn't see a deer that would barely break 160? or were you not able to video the bigger deer as they were further away etc. or generally is that what you see out there?

Hey Tooele -

This video is pretty typical of the Book Cliffs. However, we spent only one evening and one morning there, just driving the road. You can expect to see a lot of bucks that are under the 150" mark. You will see a few that are about 160" and I'd say you could expect to see a couple that will be 180"+...

I have spent two summer trips out there for just a day or two, and in each of them our experience was like the video. I have spent only one rifle hunt there, but we saw exactly 1 buck that was an easy 190" buck, and 2 or 3 that were 160" (One of which my dad killed) and then a lot of bucks that were 140" to 150".

I think if I was able to spend more time there in the summer, I could locate a few bucks in the 180" range. But I want a hard-horned, big-bodied buck for my wall so I haven't put in for archery... For me it's rifle or nothing.
