Well i finally hit my goal and killed a 180" buck with my bow. I was actually waiting for 190" buck that I had bedded at 60 yards to stand up. I waited 2 hours and this one came out of no where at 30 yards and that was the end for him! Gotta thank dad for all the Time he puts in behind the glasses to put me on these bucks!

Excellent buck. I faced that same dilemma in 2005 with a big buck that was bedded just out of range. However, I passed up the 5x6 that came within 20 yards of my tree stand that same day. I did harvest that same 5x6 a few weeks later during the muzzleloader hunt. Congratulations.

Great smile -- and well done with paying homage to your old man.

Congrats on a beautiful buck! There is something special about hunting with family and sharing the adventure with them.

it is always better when Dad is there with you on the hunt. lost my Dad about 10 years ago and I sure miss him being with me.
Congrats
I hope we have as good luck as you did on our hunt later

Not a better feeling than hunting with your kids, and watching them succeed. Remington has way more patience than I had at his age. I could have never sat there for two hours, just waiting for the buck to get up. And then to shoot a different buck after all that, was icing on the cake. You never know what is going to happen in the hunting woods. We always have so much fun scouting, and watching these bucks during the pre-season. Always nice to have video and pics of the animals you want to harvest. Remington puts in a ton of time scouting, and practicing almost every waking hour that he's not at work or asleep. I couldn't be more proud. Now we can't wait to hunt elk on the Wasatch in a few weeks with his Sister, Candis. Thanks for the nice comments everyone.

Nice buck man!

When I got the picture of it sent to me yesterday from Taylor and heard the story I was pumped for you. Good work.

If you see a few 400" bulls let me know some gps coordinates ha

Thanks everyone and the pictures really don't do him justice. I honestly thought when I shot the buck that he was maybe 170, and I think its because of how much mass he has it made his forks look smaller than they really are. His G3 on his right side at the very tip is 2" around.

Great buck. That's a helluva goal to meet and few guys get to do it with a bow. Congrats.
