I posted pix a few weeks ago about a buck i was trying to figure out the score on. A few good guesses.

I was able to shoot him in his bed this morning at 35 yards. Went 60 yards and piled over.

I will post score after the pictures

LAST EDITED ON Aug-30-14 AT 11:29PM (MST)[p]My comments from the other thread, "Yeah, the more i look at this buck, the bigger he gets. I think that this is a really big bodied buck in his prime or near so. His main frame rack exceeds his ear width up higher by a inch or two on each side. He has that tall rack that hides the fact that he's not that narrow as he first might appear. Earlier i said pushing 180. Now, i think he's mid 180 gross, might push 190 with those nice eyegards and extras, and if better than that, it would not surprise me."

At least i saw the potential. Love to see better pic's, Congrats!!

Awesome buck, congrats! I knew the first photo I saw of this buck that he would break 190 with all the mass, just didn't quite think he had 200 in him (I had him at 197). I think Sageadvice and I were the only 2 having him break 190 on the previous thread, so I can brag to about my awesome scoring abilities:)

"Maybe I am in the minority, but I think he breaks 190 with the extras. He looks like his mass just doesn't stop." nripepi

That is an awesome trophy with a bow.

Forgot to mention that the only thing he is lacking on is width. Only a 17" inside spread credit.

Mass is where he makes up the score!!!

Main beam is about 23"
G-1 is about 4.5"
G-2 is about 16 4/8"
G-3 is about 11.5"
G-4 is about 11"
H-1 is about 6"
H-2 is about 5 6/8"
H-3 is about 5 2/8"

Each side comes out to be 89-90"

mulieslayer52, Regarding your question on the other thread about S. Dakota's Bucks listed in the Book, i'm sorry that i couldn't
t be of more help. I do have a 1999 edition, some older ones, and did look thru there for you. I only found two listings. Both, oddly enough, scored 196 4/8 listed in the Typical Category. I found no Non-typ's listed. Again, that's a older book.
