it was so cool it was about 8:30 in the morning and my dad spots it and says hey there's a spike wanna kill it? so of coarse I said yes because i never killed one so we drove to it and hiked we got to the point of where it was at 90 yards my dad said squeeze and found the deer and booom he was done he ran 25 yards and tipped it over. Too bad it was a spike but hey i made a great shot.

Hey mitch glad I came back to yer thread to see a pic of yer buck! He looks just like my first buck I shot when I was 14, about a hundred yrs ago! Only difference is I coulda filled an egg carton with all my empty shells, no kiddin! I was a bit excited! I can still see him comin thru the oak trees and stopping in front of the big forked oak tree at 20yds! Yer gonna remember that buck just like I remember mine and yer dad remembers his! Can't wait to see what u shoot next year! Congrats again!

Beautiful deer young man. Perfect shot!
A boy and a very proud father.
The essence of hunting captured in a photo.
I will think about this all season, and smile.

Heck ya on a job well done. Great shot and with a muzzy that's a darn good accomplishment
