Since it has become fashionable to name a deer before you shoot it,
what else could I call it?

Whitey is the name, i'd say the same, yet some might call him Sky. :)

I have some pictures of that buck but I can't get them to upload to MM. He is a real nice buck and would be a good Management buck with only three on the one side.

Interesting he even has a whitey color texture to him to.

congrats to your wife with the tag and yes this is a cool buck but he is a young deer. with the genetics this deer has even as a 3 point on one side in my opinion this buck shouldnt be chased. with the amount of time i have spent on the henrys over the years there are plenty of old mature and past prime deer down there that are 4x3 and maybe bigger or smaller. These deer should be taken before the young deer are shot and dont even reach an age to be considered for trophy.

Look at the buck killed in 2012 name "Kato" off the pauns. that deer a few years before he was killed was a 4X3. If somebody would have killed him on the management hunt they would have had one hell of a trophy management buck and Bowdy wouldnt be holding a world class typical buck. He was a young deer then but with a little age and time he devoloped into the buck he was when they killed him. Thats my .02 cents so hopefully this deer makes it another 2 years.

UPDATE:
Whitey was still alive on the last day of the hunt.
His larger antler was broke/shot off.
My wife dropped her management buck on the last day.

Great looking buck. Whitey looks more like a muley all busted up. That first photo is still tricky looking.

Another great Management buck taken, Congrats to your wife.

Hey not to hijack yer thread but I'm just a dumb coloradan. U Utah folks talk alot about "management hunts/bucks", what's the legal Utah description of a mgmt buck?

Except that black chest and the big ears. More grey than reddish brown
