The boys Bucks

Had a great weekend with my two sons. My youngest was able to take his first buck. He made an awesome shot at 300 yards, and deer went 30 feet and fell over dead. Four hours later my first son and I were able to get on this buck. After 2 misses he finally got it done. I wish I had a picture of him just as he walked up on this thing, priceless to see his shock. He won't score great, but he's 31 wide. I get a bigger kick out of watching these kids than I do myself. Great memories.

Awesome!

They did great and good on you for putting them first. It shouldn't be the exception that a Dad puts his kids success before his own but it is nowadays.

I too would rather see my kids kill ANY buck over me killing a monster.

That bottom buck is loaded with character IMO and I don't care what he scores.

The smile on both boys faces is priceless.

That's just awesome! Tell the boys they showed-up most of us old dudes this year!
Gotta love those family hunt memories!
