Howdy,
Killed this non-typical last week in the Texas panhandle. He scores around 204 gross and 193 net. 7 non-typical points (26 4/8") and broken brow tine on right. 26 4/8" main beams and 25 7/8" inside spread. 37 4/8" mass. Shot him at 398 yards.

The last deer I posted here and the last one I killed was an archery buck in 2007. He netted 222 6/8. Pass on a lot of deer every year looking for a good one. Guess it will be 7 years before the next one. :) By that time my grandson in the background will be the shooter.

A friend killed a pig this morning and texted some pictures. I'll get permission and post later.

Good hunting!

Here's a picture after the skinning. My son-in-law killed a nice management buck. Too bad he was already tagged out before we found mine. :)

For those not around here in 2007, here's my archery buck from then. He's the reason I haven't killed one since 2007.

That 2007 buck is a monster! Congrats on both bucks....

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

Both bucks are outstanding and well worth the wait. Good luck with the next 7 year itch.

Here's my friends deer from this morning.
He gross scores 192 5/8. He broke the extra fork on the right front when he fell. Lost about 3".
