Box Elder late 2013 buck to doe ratio counts were pretty bad (11 bucks per 100 does).
Good news is the count shows a good increase in late 2014 count. (18 bucks per 100 does)
I haven't hunted that unit since 2008. Most the bucks I saw were yearlings. I'd say go give a try!
There has been talk about transplanting deer into that unit but I'm not sure if the DWR actually has done it.
