Haven't been mule deer hunting in Nevada for 8 years. I drew area 41 / 42 this year. Anyone got good results the last few years? It's a massive area

LAST EDITED ON Jun-04-15 AT 10:25PM (MST)[p]The Eugene mtns heve the most deer but not much for quality.. Seven Troughs has some deer and does produce an occasional good buck. There are possibly a few really good bucks in there but would be like finding a needle in a haystack. Like you said its a massive area.

That's kind of where I was thinking. Thanks for the info, hopefully I can post some successful pictures after the season.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-15 AT 10:31AM (MST)[p]Historically the Eugenes are good, but they burned pretty good about 10 years ago and I haven't been back since then so my info is old. There used to be pretty good bucks feeding in the alfalfa fields on the NW side that would work back up on public.
If I had the tag I would hunt 7troughs and scout heavily the week before the season. Then if I still had the tag, I'd hunt the last 5 days as well.
