nv unit 221

hey guys i am new to this forum and also hunting with a bow. been hunting for years but never in area 221 and never with a bow. Im pretty good with my bow 4 inch group at 80 yards. But my main question is does any one know where there are good areas in 221 in nv hunting unit? I'm driving there later today and the rest of the week to scout. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks for reading...

mrrichardson702;you might get a better reception if you posted in the Nevada section.I have only been participating here for a couple of yrs and don't know all the etiquette and secret handshakes yet,apparently,but I see no reason to bark at you for asking for pointers.I have been to area 22 in 2013 and had a great time and now,I and my brother are going back for the mid rifle hunt.Looking at your post,you are going up there for archery season and are going up there to go scouting.It sounds like you are going to be miles ahead of the pack before the season starts!Maybe by the time our hunt rolls around,we might be asking you for advice!We have friends in Pioche fortunately,who have given us advice in the past,even tho it did not always pan out for me,we were grateful for the help.One of my best pals reminds me all the time,You Can Never Have Too Many Friends!

I want to apologize for the reception you got.

That was uncalled for IMO. I've helped several dozen on here, and have been helped plenty myself. I don't keep score BUT this is one of the first places I go when I draw a tag. That may lead to a couple of PMs which hopefully lead to a phone call in which both parties talking with maps in front of them, it happens.

I recently sold 3 GSP chukar dogs through MM contacts.

My message is to not give up despite the cold reception.
