This guy has been coming in to my camera for about a month. He never dropped from last year. Got any ideas what is going to happen to him?

What's going to happen to him? He's going to get shot this fall if he shows himself to someone with a tag in there pocket.

My theory is that the right antler was cast in late FEB and was then reattached with super glue and screws by Sasquatch. It's going to be interesting to see how the right burr develops. It appears that it is growing around last years antler. Amost like lava flow. I don't think I've ever seen one so far developed while hanging on to last years antler . Cool.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!

I sure hope you can still get pics of him through out his growing season. Hopefully it doesn't grow over his eye.

i hope you catch more pictures as he grows Would be nice to see how it turns out.

My dad shot a buck exactly like that in Wyoming last year. Crazy thing to see. huge ball of velvet mass at the base of the antler that didn't drop.
