We hunted hard and ended up with the caliber of bucks we were looking for. It was a great week and we met some great new friends.

Thanks Founder. It was an awesome trip. Saw bunches of bucks each day. Gotta love those Limited Entry units. Best part was being able to do it with me dad and brother. Memories made for a lifetime.

A couple of nice bucks. It looks like the great grandson of my buck. I shot this one when I was 15 years old. I think it was 1995.

Wow Snky- I've been waiting for your report, and you guys definitely DELIVERED..!! What a couple of awesome bucks. Your dad's has the awesome deep forks that everyone loves, and yours is one of the widest heaviest bucks I've ever seen. Congratulations..!!

With some prayers and some luck, you guys could be down there again next year too..! That's awesome... :)

Thanks Browningrage. The hunt was awesome. We were seeing deer every time we left camp. We can't wait to get both bucks back from the taxidermist and enjoy seeing them every day. I am waiting to have mine officially scored. I am guessing he will come in around 205-210. What are your thoughts?

X2 on everything browning said. Beautiful bucks.

SnkyHuntr, Congrats on the awesome bucks, you guys rocked it.

(PS. I think I saw you guys down there. We were hunting bears last week and camped by the corrals at the corner towards Bears Ears.)

Before you said 205-210, I was thinking 195"... Now I'm wondering if the photo you posted maybe doesn't do your buck justice for the back tines. If you're thinking 205-210, I believe you..!! Does he have over 40" of mass..?? :)

Grizz-

We you the camp behind the corrals or just West of them (turn left at the junction)? I have tones of greta pics of some dandy bears on Trail Camera. I think there are 5-6 different bears. We also saw a Brute just above the bathrooms on the Woodenshoe Canyon Trailhead.

I apologize. It is not the best picture. I was so excited I didn't think about positioning him and getting any good angle shots. His back tines are almost identical to the fronts and he carries the mass all the way to the tips. I couldn't even put my whole hand around the bases.

SnkyHuntr, we were the one west of the corrals.

We ran some bears, but none were big enough. I'm sure we'll be back in a few weeks to find a big boar. Congrats again on the great bucks.

That is just awesome. The deer look greatand as you already pointed out, you got to do it with your Pops.

Great bucks! The San Juan is one special place, not just for hunting but overall just a really cool area!

You and your Pops got a couple of smoker's. Congrats
