How about this buck? This is another better one that I looked at this year. I like this one. Nice frame, wide. Not much for mass, but a guy would have to have a better buck found to hold off the trigger on this one.
Would you take him?
This is one of the best I've seen this year. Whatcha' think he scores? How wide?

This is one of those bucks that you can't pass up, but after you shoot him you wish you could see how big he would be in a couple more years. He has it all a little cheater nice points. Bang is all I can say.

I would guess close to 30" wide at g-3's and scores around 185+ gross with very little deductions. And yes, I would pull the trigger at first light on the first day.

Very pretty deer. He will not break thirty inches. I would agree he is about 27 at his widest. He has the type of frame that will score well. I would say he is right around 178-180. I think he is a year older than the last wide deer you posted. I agree that he has tremendous potential. I don't think you feel bad after you whack him and walk up to him but I don't think you feel bad letting him walk either. Thank you for sharing. Looks like you are having a lot of fun scouting this year.

Just a pretty buck. 27-28 Wide with a solid 180 frame. He even has a little character with the cheater. I have that tag, and I wouldn't hesitate to take that buck opening morning. He has the wall appeal and would be a great representative buck for the area.

I would guess 28-29" wide and roughly 185". And yes I will, I mean I would, shoot him. ;-)

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-15 AT 09:01AM (MST)[p]i agree with Hawkeye. i came up with 28 1/2" low 180's

personally, i like that 31-32" buck with the weak backs better than this buck. to me, he looks like a much bigger framed buck, doubt neither will Book, so from all those you've shared with us, i'd go for that huge frame and 30+... just sayin.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-25-15 AT 10:54AM (MST)[p]Nice buck high 170s is my guess a shooter? I think so. I like the wide buck with weak forks better. imo
