My first year of chasing muleys with a bow has been a challenge. I've passed a few shots on some small 2-points with little regret at this time.
Last weekend I turned up a nice cagey 160-170" muley that strongly resembles the famous cemetery buck from a few years ago before he started growing all his extras. He comes out right at sunset leaving me little time to execute a good stalk. Last weekend I got to 100 yards on him twice, got busted by changing wind once and a bad step made some noise the second time.
Hoping to find him again this weekend and give him hell, put an arrow in him, and kill my first archery buck, and my best buck yet. Hope I can put it all together.
