Anybody else see this beast yet? I saw Brownlee posted it on Muley Connection's Facebook page. Impressive buck, for sure.

Yes, he has great looking teeth, but there is NO one better finding bucks in the west. Congrats to the nimrod.

I Noticed they're all(Gov Tag Holders!) Not Waiting till the last few days of season this year!

Brownstain had nothing to do with finding this buck as usual. Some a$$ hat that works on or around the GOLF COURSE!! next to the petting zoo he was killed on sent the pic out to the usual scum, the hit squad was assembled, a few day later the big white grin post his victory pose. lets not stroke his ego or pat his back yet.

Not much inside spread, crabby fronts, and weak eye guards. He's OK i guess if you like points! ;-)

Huge buck.

It amazes me how some of you can be so mean because Brownlee guides these guys. I understand not liking the tags, but being so cruel towards the way someone looks is disappointing. I know it's just the way the world is. I guess it just amazes me to see adults saying those things.

People are quick to talk smack. But if it was there friend who guided or them who shot the buck their tune would be a whole lot different. I don't know the whole story....but congrats to the guide and hunter for ultimately getting the job done on an amazing buck.

I'm pretty sure the animosity towards Brownlee stems from him being a convicted poacher..?? Or am I remembering the story wrong.??

In regards to the buck, what a freaky giant..!! He's about as gnarly a buck as I've ever seen a picture of. Congrats to the tag holder. I hope it was the guy that bought it super cheap.

:) :)

Thanks for a much needed post Founder. The 3rd grade level Brownlee bashing gets old quick when the post is about a really great buck. We get it already, a majority here don't like Mike Brownlee. Now let the dead horse lye.

Heck of a unique buck. The inches sure added up and don't get me wrong, I'd take him if given the opprotunity, but some of these knarly extra extras bucks just don't ring my bell. Congrats to the hunter, a buck of a lifetime for sure.

I agree but they have their fake internet names and hidden profiles to hide behind.
So they revert back to kindergarten.

Congratulations to the Hunter on a giant buck.

As a person who has no idea about the guide or the hunter, it's a pretty awesome buck. I'm jealous as hell. Anybody know what unit?

Hope this helps those having a problem with Mr. Glo-in-the-dark- teeth. Personally, if the guy is a convicted poacher, then I think he's brought the pot shots on himself...

Also, I'm curious how he is a convicted poacher? All I see is that he was convicted of harassment because of flying his helicopter too low and affecting wildlife. I don't agree with this, don't get me wrong. I just couldn't find anything that showed he was a poacher. Did I miss a story somewhere? Being a poacher and flying a helicopter too low are two completely different things. Hell I only saw that he got fined $100 which I completely don't agree with.

From what I've gathered, he applied for/received a resident deer tag in the state of Wyoming when he was not actually a resident, in the days of Popeye (late 90s). Not sure if he harvested or any other details than that.

Any ethical hunter would have a tough time hiring someone with old muley teeth's history! Flying helicoptors around winter range...searching and harassing bucks for governor tag clients is a prime example of the what he's willing to do to locate bucks for his clients. It is only a matter of time before he gets caught doing what he does so well!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-16-15 AT 05:12PM (MST)[p]Lets call it what it is. Pure unadulterated jealousy. It's sad people have to be so vicious. I remember the day when we looked up to successful people, we admired them. They gave us motivation to hunt harder, or be successful in life so we could afford such hunts. Why is it we have to throw bricks at people who are successful. To my knowledge, Brownlee has had only two minor wildlife infractions, one of which he probably shouldn't have been cited for. Posts like this are one reason I don't frequent MM. This use to be a great place to share success and info with fellow hunters. Now the bottom feeders have taken over.

No it is not jealously at all. It is saddening to see what hunting has become, actually sickening. The fact is simple, Brownlee did not find this buck, he paid for the information that led him to this buck (I am sure more of this story will come out). If you are not disturbed by the money and commercialization of wildlife then it is probably pointless to argue with you. For many, Brownlee, Mossback, etc. are a major concern. When too much money gets involved, people do not play by the rules. The rules set in place to insure fair chase, ethics, safety etc. He and others like him are more concerned about money, profit, etc. When those motivations become the driving force for any activity it is concerning.

The animal is impressive, but the method used to harvest is not... Pay enough money and anyone can shoot that type of buck. Do we really want a future where this is acceptable and becomes status quo?

Mr Mike Brownstain is a convicted poacher. He shot a deer and elk with no tag in his pocket in wyoming in the mid 90s. Add in his ethics as of late in Colorado and you can see why people hate the guy.

I feel sorry for anyone that defends mike brownlee. To even defend him would make me question one that would! Birds of the same feather flock together!

Rather you like him or not, He does get in a lot of photo's with BIG deer, I don't know the stories or the man, BUT a bunch of you sound like old hens out in the barnyard, now that is just my take on it.Unless you was sitting by the guy who wrote the ticket or by him you still got this information from some-one who wasn't in either place. I got to agree with founder too much crap on a post about a good deer, That some-one took however,IF it was taken in a legal hunt and legal hunt area I have nothing to say other Then Good Looking Buck. Now maybe that hunter don't hunt the same way I do,So what, IF it is a legal way that fine.
By a Golf course, out in a field, out of a stand over a feeder, next to a road, as long as they follow the rules on a legal hunt I don't have a problem.

He may not be the one who originally found or finds a buck but I have seen him in the Hills sitting on a basin just glassing for days. I am assuming, just keeping an eye on one of these bucks that some one has directed him towards until his client shows up. He puts in the time for sure but also gets some help.

As Magpie stated, Brownlee has been convicted of poaching in Wyoming on two different occasions. Once for deer; once for elk. His ability to find huge deer notwithstanding...the guy has a dubious past to say the least.

Am I jealous that the hunter was able to kill this giant buck? NOT IN THE LEAST.

Am I concerned about the direction hunting is headed?? ABSOLUTELY.

MonStud! What a Bruiser Buck!

He'd be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly.

i don't care if Brownlee killed twenty bucks illegally while driving a four wheeler through a primitive area with a fifth of whiskey and a box of hand grenades. A lot of you sound like a bunch of whiney little kids.

Money has always been part of hunting. Sure your deer tag isn't as much as this one but there are plenty of people out there who couldn't even afford the tag you got, so quit masking your jealousy with self righteousness and start counting your blessings.

It is of my opinion y'all are but hurt becuase someone has the money to afford things you can't and no matter how much self aggrandizement you spout you don't have the skills to offset your fiscal deficiencies.

Hey tristate,
Speaking of money old mike brownlee has filed bankruptcy more than once. So not only is he a POS in the hunting world he is in the business world too. There's a lot of people out there ripped off by old smiley Brownstainlee!

Magpie,

Do you really think filing bankruptcy is grounds to hate and slander someone? How old are you?

Just like I told these other kids, if you have never had to file for bankruptcy count your blessings, that could all change in the blink of an eye.

Now does anyone want to post about him getting fired from a job or causing a fender bender?
