Big buck guide suggestions?

A cousin and I have been throwing around the idea of a guided hunt. Need somewhere with no draw or preference points needed. We already hunt Montana. We are thinking around the 5,000 dollar area. And would like to have the oppurtunity for as big of deer as we can for that price range.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-17-16 AT 09:58PM (MST)[p]Alberta, Canada. You can take a big muley and a whitetail around that price. Not as difficult getting up there with guns as you might think. Also super waterfowl hunting.

I would look into Alberta or eastern Colorado. Maybe even a CWMU in Utah. Probably your best bet for a big buck.

Or get landowner tags in Nevada. They allow you to hunt every season for that unit so you have a long time to find a good buck.

Good luck on finding what you guys are looking for.

Not having preference points and drawing limits the number of places available.

Like others have said, Alberta, but $5,000 is probably the low end of those hunts. More like $5,000 to $7,000.

Landowner tags anywhere are going to drive the cost of the hunt up. A $3,000 landowner tag plus a $4,000 hunt and you are going to be at $7,000.

Ranching For Wildlife in Colorado might be an option. Some of those are $5,000 and they have tags. As mentioned before, CWMU in Utah have tags.

Ranching for Wildlife in Colorado and CWMU in Utah ranches might be $5,000 but some of them might be $10,000.
