Wondering if anyone can clarify if a buck or bull can officially be entered as both a typical and non typical? There are those rare instances where a buck or bull could be classified as either, but can they be entered both ways? thanks in advance.
Interesting, maybe B&C changed their policy. I could have bet my last nickel that you had to choose one or the other. I would think that Homer and big moose would know, but they have different answers?? I'll go with D13.
You have to pick. Usually it's which one is better compared to the minimum, or how it ranks respectively in each category. You can NOT enter the same deer in two different categories.
...you can score it how ever you want....you can make up anything you want....you can use the MM method.....you can claim you entered it in any book you want....
but....before you can enter it into B&C it has to be measured by an official measurer and the owner has to decide where to enter it if it meets the minimum score for both typical and non typical categories...you can only enter any animal once in B&C
and....if you know of any animals listed in the official B&C book more than once Big Moosie...and you call them and prove it to them....it will not be in the next publication. I have no doubt it has been done but it is against the rules.
