Peter Eades sent me a few photos a couple weeks back to share here on the site. He knows how much we dream of monster muleys. I just added the photos to a NEW Photo Tour ... CLICK HERE to View It

Here are two of my favorite bucks he shared. If they were standing together, which one would you drop the hammer on? Or would you pass both and look for a bigger buck?

Talk about a couple studs! Maybe it's how the second buck is posing when the pic was taken, but just look at how stalky he is!! He is built like a brick $hithouse....truly a magnificent buck??. He's my favorite of the 2. That sure gets the blood pumping for fall!!

"Width isn't everything", as they say, but i'll take the forty incher. ;-)

I'd like to see #1 from the front first, see how close to 40 he is. I like the drop tine buck a little more I think.

Top Buck for me, #2 aint no slouch, but #1 is magfu##ingnificent... Does he have more pics with different angles of #1? Please post if he can...

Do you know how many bucks DIDN'T make B&C because the inside spread was less than the longer main beam? Without a doubt WIDTH is everything!! I'll take numeo uno.

I think I would pass on them both. I can't stand a buck that won't finish the job of velvet removal. I don't know, they just seem lazy to me. All kidding aside, I'd take number two.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-11-16 AT 08:58AM (MST)[p]I would "try" to take #1 if I could hold still enough :)
Both beautiful bucks!!!

To tuff to say I could only wish some day I had that problem to make the decision

Mr. Eades takes some world class photos. Are those photos taken on the Eastern Plains or north of the border?

found a buck like number 1 around here on the winter range...gonna try and find his antlers May 1......
