Nevada 10 late rifle.

Drew the Nevada late rifle tag for unit 10 and was wondering if anyone had pics of bucks they've shot or any good places out there to hunt. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I like to hunt 10, its a great hunt.I have taken some good bucks on the late hunt. Most of them don't score very well, but they have a lot of characters. Snow and colder weather moves the deer out of the high country. With semi to open country, it can be glassed long distances.With few hunters, you should have some areas all to yourself. I usually hunt 2-3 miles from the trailheads. Good luck.

I should have mention that 10 is a huge area, the rubys hold a majority of the deer herd. Don't overlook other mountain ranges, they have less deer, but quality bucks can be seen.

Been there the past few years and I'm not seeing the genetics. If it was wide it was a 3x3 or 3x4. Sure seems they need a management hunt.
