LAST EDITED ON Jun-03-16 AT 12:28PM (MST)[p]Yes they do need nuts crushed!!!! @$$holes. Hope ya recover it. Good Luck. Damn Nice buck and ain't like ya can just go get another one.

Sorry for your loss. I don't understand why people do that? The main point of having it on the wall is for the memories of the hunt.

Sorry to hear that, what an excellent buck!

I too don't understand why anyone would want to display something that they (or a family member) didn't kill. Makes me think the thief might try to sell it, so hopefully there is hope. Good luck.

It's sick the type of people that makes up the majority of our society. The older I get the less faith I have in humans and realize how much selfishness rules the day. Not that there aren't good people left, we're just the minority!

Hope you recover him. He's a beaut..!!

Anyone know of some mounting systems that are almost impenetrable..?? I'd like to know where to get it, especially if I ever put anything in my garage rather than my basement...

"Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!" 2 Ne. 28: 24

...your nuts should be crushed for leaving something like that in the garage.....especially with your niece's cape on it....

Yes hope Karma kicks them in the ol keester!!! And dosnt really matter where the mount was in the garage, family room, Trophy Room or even the bathroom the dipsticks should have there nuts crushed not MD88. Where he hangs/stores it is his business, and may have reasoning why it was in the garage, Still his property and Trespasser should be Shot on sight!!

Get that pic circulating on as many media sources as you can. Guys recognize bucks of the caliber and will notice it if they see it. Example the Nate Strong case,SLC Expo Buck!!!!!!!

If that's the only thing missing from your garage it's someone that's been in your garage before. Hope you get him back.

I wouldn't go that far, don't want to alienate some friends when that's probably not what happened. Drive down any street in any town or city in any state and you will see garage doors open and visible from the street. Big deer on walls turn heads. If you had your garage door open for the world to see, chances are any dude driving down the street saw it. That's a big buck, one that would get a lot of attention from any hunter. Keep an eye on pawn shops, and look for it regularly online. Goodluck finding it.

I may have grown a bit jaded thru time. The older I get the more I tend believe in this line:

Hope I'm wrong and you still get it back. Lookin forward to hearin how it plays out, keep us posted!

When the guy gets caught request his punishment being you shoving one of those tines through his balls... He wouldn't steal again, great deterrent to future possible thieves and he won't be passing his genes along to raise them as thieves!

this happened to my Dad years ago in the sixties. He shot a huge deer in what is known as the Henry Mountains. it was huge 40 inches wide and a perfect four point. he took second place that year in the big deer contest at the sporting goods store in Salt Lake City.
we have never seen that one again but I will bet someone else has it in the record book with their name on it.

it was the biggest frickin deer I have ever seen. sure would like to get it back no telling where it is

good luck I hope you find it and Karma takes hold and that person who stole yours will have their day when they get something that they love stolen from them

Found him under an old tarp in the garage or what? You asked for the monster muley community to help and this is the end of the story you provide? Kinda kidding.

Anyways, I'm very glad you found that great mount.

It was hanging in a sporting good store for sale and someone from monster muleys saw it and told the store owner it was stolen and so the store owner contacted me. Then the sherif contacted me confirmed it was mine and I got it back.

....interesting....obviously the sheriff will be going to the address the store owner provided of where the yard sale was?......doesn't $2000 value make this a felony??

Any idea yet who took him?

Ya press this issue if it was purchased at a yard sale then make them pursue it. Or don't be surprised if it comes up missing again

That's awesome that you found your deer, the owner of the store could be facing receiving stolen property of his whole yard sale story doesn't pan out

>I'm startin to think the wife
>got tired a lookin at
>it.

the Sheriff would find my "wife" at a garage sale then for 200 pennies...
