Looking for thoughts and info on Mt. Emily 154c deer hunt. Drew a tag for this year.

Good for you! 10 tags, 1,850 first choice guys last year... Unfortunately most guys have not killed a huge buck even though this is a great tag, during great dates... I have heard the far east side is the best... I got lucky this year and drew a branched bull tag with 6 points (14 tags, 3,300 first choice apps) and will let you know if I see a good buck while I'm in there glassing for big bulls.

Thanks for the help. I have also heard not great bucks in this unit, but it is suppposed to still be the best mule deer hunt in Oregon.

I would really appreciate and help you can give. If you do see anything nice 160 or better it would be nice to have a heads up. what are the dates of your hunt. Mine is Nov. 12-23rd.
