LAST EDITED ON Jun-28-16 AT 10:49PM (MST)[p]I know this guy isn't a record breaker but a respectable buck in my eyes. Here's a few shots of the buck I spotted here this past weekend. Can't wait until season opens up here in ND. I would guess a 3 year old buck, any thoughts?

nice buck. I'd say he definitely older than 3. Reason is I look at two things, shape of nose and comparing hindquarters to front quarters.
2 1/2 and under bucks are usually somewhat equal in size, as the deer get to 3 1/2 and up they get the "bull dog" look/shape. Once the get to 5 1/2 (mature) the hindquarters catch up and start to get equal to the front quarters.

I'd put him at 5 1/2 years old. However just a guess, good luck putting a tag on him this fall!

You can see on his left side at least his G3 is going to split but can a person get a good guess on how much more spread he will have and how much taller his tines will get?

Age? Old enough
Score? High enough
He's a shooter buck in any GS unit I've hunted.

I would agree with all of the above.

As far as how much more he'll grow, that will vary from animal to animal; just like people.

However, it's pretty plain that he will attain more length on all his tines, especially on the backs. They grow after the front is done, usually. I've seen bucks put on impressive growth in July; others not so much. I'm betting that buck will impress you greatly by the time he's done growing...
